SEAL OFF GRATE/CURB INLET The Plug Rug can be bent to seal off both horizonal and vertical surfaces. The Plug N Dike base seals even if there are cracks or chunks missing in the road surface. Available 24"x20", 24"x16", 16"X16" and 8"x8".
FILTER SLEEVES-GEOTEXTILE FABRIC For maximum flow to minimize potential flooding, fill the filter sleeve with gravel and some sand. For increased sediment retention, fill with just sand. Adjust the quantity of sand to establish overflow. Join sleeves together with ties for longer inlets. Filter Sleeves are 3 inch diameter x 36 inches long. Easily pulled out to allow more flow in heavy rainfall.
QUICK AND CHEAP Lay the filter over the grate and the sand bags on the sides. If you do not want to use the sand bags, just use the plastic ties to hold the fabric onto the grate. No lifting of grate. Sand bags alone do not stop the silt. The filter fabric has a flood flap that opens in heavy rains to minimize flooding. Can be cleaned off and reused. Filter #QCF-36" x 30". Packaged 4 filters with either 16 ties or 8 sand bags/carton. When ordering, specifiy either ties or sand bags.
